About us
We are the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA). We are an Irish charity that helps adults improve their reading, writing, maths and computer skills.
Who we are
We are the largest provider of online learning at Level 2 and 3 in Ireland. Level 3 is like the Junior Certificate. We are funded by the Irish Government and European Union. Our courses are regulated by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
What we do
We provide over-the-phone and online courses, tutor training and teaching resources, and we do research and campaigns to raise awareness of literacy issues and services in Ireland.
Since 2000, our tutors have delivered with over 40,000 over the phone sessions to over 5,000 adults in Ireland.
